Privacy policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
This policy explains how Combase Ltd ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through this website, www.combase.co.uk. It does not cover Combase Cloud itself: lottery data our customers hold in Combase Cloud is covered by our agreement with each customer.
What we collect
-
Demo and contact requests: your name, email address, subject and message, when you use the form on our website.
-
Newsletter sign-ups: your email address, if you ask to receive Combase news.
-
Technical information: basic information your browser sends when you visit, such as pages viewed, browser type and an approximate location, used to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
-
To reply to your enquiry and arrange a demo.
-
To send you Combase news if you signed up. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
-
To keep the website secure and running properly.
We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Our lawful basis
We reply to enquiries because it is in our legitimate interests to respond to people who contact us. We send news by email because you asked for it, and you can withdraw that at any time.
Who we share it with
Our website is hosted by Wix.com, which processes this information for us under its own data protection terms. Wix may store data outside the UK. Where it does, it uses safeguards approved under UK data protection law. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any follow-up, and then delete them. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
This website only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work:
-
XSRF-TOKEN: security for the website's forms.
-
bSession: keeps your visit working.
-
ssr-caching: page caching.
-
__cf_bm: protection against automated traffic.
We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. To make a request, use the form on our Contact page.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
